Step 1 of 4

Start with the boat kit

The all-in-one is the one thing every member has to own, and the one thing nobody else sells for your club. Racing designs and training designs sit side by side here instead of four rows apart.

Step 2 of 4

What goes under it

Base layers, leggings and bras, in your size already. In a September intake this is the part a novice gets wrong, because the club shop gives no clue which of the six base layers is theirs.

Step 3 of 4, optional

For standing on the bank

Splash jackets, zephyrs, fleeces and puffas. The layer a coach lives in from October to March, and the layer that pushes an order over the top saving.

Step 4 of 4, optional

Off the water

Gym kit, casual kit and the bits that end up on a stash list. Everything here counts towards the same saving, so a hat added at the end can be what unlocks it.

Why one order beats four

Club kit is cut and printed to order, so an order is a production job. Four orders across a season is four jobs, four dispatches and four waits.

For the rower

One wait, not four

Every item in a kit ships together, so the wait happens once rather than every time a member remembers something they forgot.

For the club

The kit list, enforced

A club captain can set what a novice must own and what is optional. The builder will not let a starter kit be finished without it, so nobody turns up in September missing a base layer.

For RIVAL

Bigger orders, same batch

A saving that only unlocks across a whole kit moves items into the same production run and the same shipping label. RIVAL 2.0 already promises faster turnaround; this is the demand side of it.

Phase two, not built here

Then do it for a whole crew

The same engine runs a squad order: one kit list, a size grid across the crew, one payment from the club account. Kit secretaries currently do this in a spreadsheet and email it in.

Your homepage already invites clubs to request a design and RIVAL 2.0 offers stock holding for partner clubs. A squad order is what turns both of those into a checkout rather than an email thread.
